How to book
We do not have an online booking system but you can use the calendar in the Booking section to check for available dates and times. Once you have found a suitable date call us on 07704357025 or email us at info@elveys-canoe.co.uk to make your booking. When we book you in you will receive full email confirmation and joining instructions containing all the information you will need to prepare for your day on the water.
All hire needs to be pre-booked so please do not travel to us if you do not have a booking.
On the day
We will meet you at the Yalding Canoe Launch point (ME186HG) at your pre-booked arrival time. On arrival you will receive a safety and information briefing. You will be provided with the following equipment for the day:
- Tandem Canoe
- Buoyancy Aid
- Paddle
- Helmet (optional for canoe chutes)
- Large storage barrel (for food/drink/gear)
- Small dry pot (for phone and keys etc)
- Folding cushion chair for younger child (available on request)
- Laminated Map
Once you have been briefed and kitted out you are good to go! We will show you how to get the canoes on and off the water and how to get in and out of them (without falling in)! You are then free to explore the beautiful sections of river above or below Yalding. In Spring & Summer there is no discernible flow on the river so you can paddle up or down, stop for a picnic and then paddle back to the starting point where we will collect the canoe/s. You can return anytime up until 5.00pm which is the latest time boats have to be back.
